Easy Chairs

A matched pair of easy chairs designed by Alf Svensson for DUX in Sweden during the 1950s. A prime example of Svensson’s ability to combine industrial precision with organic warmth, these chairs feature a distinctively architectural frame crafted from solid teak.

The design is defined by its dynamic profile, featuring sharp, angular armrests that taper elegantly into the rear legs. The deep, angled seat and backrest create a "floating" appearance within the rigid timber structure. Newly upholstered in a tactile cream corduroy, the soft texture of the fabric provides a sophisticated contrast to the rich, warm hues of the teak wood.
